Petition Description:
<p>For almost 70 years, the bullet symbol ('•') has existed as separators between the letters in the RIT logo. With the new brand identity being eluded to today, there seems to be a curious lack of such separators. Not only was this change not community decided--rather closed-doored actually--but there seems to be some serious disaproval for such a change (especially from those who keep the univerity open: the students). This petition serves as a way to say we don't like it. In fact, I woud go as far to say that it doesn't fit RIT at all. Change the typeface all you want, but leave the general outline of the identity intact. Please.<br></p>
