Petition Description:
<p>If you need to see a therapist, there's often a month-long waiting period. I know they'll fit you in as soon as possible if you're having a serious crisis, but many people are not at that point yet when they call, and the knowledge of the waiting period often discourages people from calling at all who might really need it. The health center really seems understaffed, and needs to hire more therapists/counselors. It's clear that there's a problem, and the protests today highlight it.</p>
